What People's Say About Place

I stopped by Pour House New Orleans the day after Thanksgiving, and even though the bar wasn’t crowded, the atmosphere was super chill and welcoming. Sean, our bartender, was attentive, friendly, and made great drinks. Mr. Al in the kitchen absolutely did his thing the brisket tacos and quesadillas were excellent, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. Great food, great drinks, and great people. I’ll definitely be back!

My family and I went here after Mardi Gras, and though they had a limited menu because of it, they were super accommodating for a big party. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and the food was great! We’d definitely come back on our next visit.

Cute little bar. Not much room. Had pulled pork and it was really good. Very misleading on drink prices. Be careful and ask what the entire drink cost is. Each ingredient charged separately.. so weird. It says well drinks $7 but then they add orange juice it's another $7

Fun bar. A good New Orleans walk off the street and fit right in bar. The BBQ was fantastic, beer the beans as your side. Trust me.

Visited the place twice during my stay in New Orleans and I must say that this place has one of the better bartenders I've come across in years. Maddie, if you are reading this, you deserve praise for your social skills which is way too uncommon these days among other bartenders. The bar itself is abit small, so it's not recommended for bigger groups during busy nights.

Was looking for somewhere to get a quick lunch and stumbled across this place. It's a pretty chill atmosphere with good music. I got the Jayhawker sandwich featuring brisket and pork with potato salad. The sandwich was super good with a good bit of meat on it. The pineapple bbq sauce was top-notch! Not pictured here, but the Mac n cheese was AMAZING, and the brisket quesadillia was really good, too!!

the atomeshpere can vary but if your looking for a nice quiet bar or a popping bar just need to take a peek and see if it suits you. food was great kitchen runs till 11 which is nice.

Came in randomly after receiving a ridiculous wait time for Bearcat that no food is worth waiting for. Pour House was a chance encounter. The woman behind the bar wasn't very attentive and wasn't very interactive. She made us get up from our table when the way the tables are, it would be a lot more convenient for the person who is supposed to be serving us, to serve it to us. The menu was small and had very tantalizing options, however, two of the things our small group had tried to order, they were apparently out of. Chips for nachos, and no burgers... disappointing. Overall though, the food that we received was top quality and superb flavor. The maple bacon whiskey drink, pass up on it. It's weird and too strong, this coming from a heavy drinker. Overall I would go back, just because it was some amazing BBQ, but the place has plenty of room for improvement. I ordered the Jayhawker with hickory sauce (all the sauces were phenomenal!) And Mac n cheese. Also the bomb. Give the place a try if you love amazingfoods, jjsy don't expect much "service"!
